About Me

For as long as I can remember, I have always felt most alive when listening to people and helping them see what is in their hearts. I am humbled by the opportunity to create safe and nurturing environments to help people chart their way forward.

I have helped clients face specific phobias, navigate career changes, manage social anxieties holding them back at work or in relationships.

I approach coaching with a questioning mind. I listen for both what is said and for what is left unsaid, with the aim of helping clients broaden their perspectives. I adopt and try to instill a practice of mindfulness, a sense of accepting the present moment with all of its gifts and challenges. After all, if we know where we are, we can better plan where to go. While I rely on all the skills I have learned through my training, with clients I model curiosity and encourage them to embrace this attitude and trust it to open doors.

My path to coaching is an untraditional one. As a primary care physician - trained at Brown Medical School and the Harvard Combined Medicine-Pediatrics Program - I found myself searching for more tools to help those in my care with their broader struggles that impacted their wellness. I pursued training in mind-body medicine at the Benson Henry Institute. I completed certificate courses in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from MGH and from the Beck Institute. I became certified in Lifestyle Medicine (focusing on stress reduction and its impact on physical and mental wellbeing). Finally, I became certified as a personal coach through Fowler Coaching, Inc and am thrilled to be able to share my journey with new clients.

I have worked with lots of different clients, of all ages and walks of life. My deepest joy is helping people recognize the power of their own dreams and inner voice. My goal is for my clients to become their own coaches, to learn enough about themselves to chart their own paths and carry their dreams forward.

I hope to have the opportunity to work with you.
